Gearbox Lubrication

Other than periodic lubrication, no routine operational maintenance to the gear drive is needed. It is recommended, however, that you inspect the gear drive regularly for lubricant leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, etc.

The gear drive has been filled with grease at the factory, and is sealed for life. The life expectancy is 5 years under normal conditions.

Grease lubrication is suitable for ambient temperature operation from 30 degrees to 150 degrees F (-1 degree to 66 degrees C).
